  I'm a wheelchair user that can't get through the neighborhood because they don't shovel their sidewalks. They never did last year either. If it's a financial burden, I'm sure the members would love to help. They stated they hired a service. How long does it take a service to address the issue when it's not snowing anymore?

  My experience of First United Church of Oak Park dates back to the summer of 1947 when I attended a state-wide youth conference. More recently, I have convened meetings in their wonderful space, worked with many of the congregants on mission projects, and worshipped in their sanctuary. This church IS what it claims itself to be: Welcoming, inclusive, and celebrating our faith.

  This is my home church and I love it. They are open and welcome real people. No judgmental environment. So much peace!
